Organic Lotion Bars

My Organic Lavender Fleur de Lis Lotion Bar on my favorite soap dish.

Ingredients:
  • 1 liquid cup organic beeswax
  • 1 cup organic shea butter (you can also use cocoa butter, mango butter or a combination of all three)
  • 1/3 cup of each: organic sweet almond oil, jojoba oil & coconut oil
  • 2 tsp organic essential oil-(my favorite is lavender if I use shea butter and vanilla mixed with bergamot if I use cocoa butter)
  • Molds (I use soap molds)

Directions:
  • Add the beeswax to a melting pot. I use this one I purchased on ebay. I LOVE my melter!
  • Melt wax to a liquid form.
  • Add your butters & melt together.
  • After completely melted add your oils & essential oil(s).
  • Mix well & pour into molds.
  • Allow to cool completely (approx 2-3 hours).
  • If you have problems removing from mold, place mold in freezer for 20 minutes, this will release bars from mold.
  • Remove from mold & place on soap dish or plate of your choosing.
  • Allow to come to room temperature before using.
My favorite melting pot ever! Found it on eBay.
