- 4 Quarts of organic popped pop corn
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup Wholesome Sweetener's Organic Non-GMO light corn syrup
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup organic butter
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1 cup of old fashioned blister peanuts (or your favorite nuts; chopped or whole whatever you prefer)
- 2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
- Over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, salt & corn syrup; boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; stir in baking soda, vanilla & cinnamon.
- Stir well. Pour over the popped corn in a large bowl.
- Mix well until evenly coated; bake.
- Spread on waxed paper to cool.
- After completely cooled break apart and enjoy!
- Store in airtight container.
Cook Temp: 200°F
Cook Time: Bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
Serve With: Mulled cider, roasted pumpkin seeds &
Chocolate Marshmallow Surprise Cookies on Halloween night for Harvest Party.
Notes: We love this, it makes the house smell wonderful. Even the
trick-or-treaters comment on how good the house smells! We make it every year on Halloween night for the neighbors, along with Marshmallow Surprises.
