Bathroom Remodels

We have had oil rubbed bronze, & antique brass/golds for the past 13 years so it was time for a change. We introduced more whites & grays, changed to nickel, pewter & stainless steel. I am IN LOVE with Rub-n-buff pewter & silver. I was able to reuse all of my old decorative items by just redoing them (which of course I love to do). I painted the cabinets myself using Maison Blanche Wrought Iron Vintage Furniture Paint. I used three coats & then topped it with Min-Wax Satin Water Based Rub On Poly, three coats as well.  I added nickel hardware to the cabinets, & new nickel plumbing faucets with white fixtures & new nickel tradition style light fixtures. We replaced the old while tile with granite "look" formica in gray tones, which I really like.

The demo was sooo labor intensive (tile counters were difficult to remove)...the big mirrors were very hard to get out and down the stairs. I am getting way too old for demo. This will likely be my last major remodel (I hope). And now drum rolls please.....let the fun begin!

New Satin Nickel Hardware Replaced the Polished Brass, LOVE them!

BEFORE: Recessed Oak TP Holder In the Cabinets
BEFORE: Here are the ugly Oak Recessed TP Holders that were mounted IN THE CABINETS. No others Recessed Paper Holders would fit the huge hole so we had to have wood plaques made to cover the huge holes in the cabinets so I could install these surface mount TP Holders that I refinished with (you guessed it) Rub-N-Buff Pewter! I purchased these in Colorado Springs Hobby Lobby...my favorite store of all time!

AFTER: Covered holes with these plaques.
The powder bath
Vintage ceiling tile mirror redone in pewter.
Nickel handles on refinished cabinet, where there were none.
