Easter is Here!

The sun is popping out here and there, but it is mostly pouring rain. Not complaining because we had a very bad drought last year. So bad some of the lakes did not open for boating! I am anxiously awaiting the sun to start shining again so Riley and I can go on walks again (and shed the extra winter weight we both added this year).

One of my favorite times of year is Spring. God wakes up the earth after a long winter nap. The sound of the birds returning, the beauty of the trees blooming and the smell of sweet lilac in the air is intoxicating to the soul. I always feel so refreshed, renewed and full of grace at Easter. I am so grateful for the eternal gift that Christ gave me through his sacrificial death on the cross. The thought of it always brings tears to my eyes, such love for us that He gave His life in such a tortuous way, through Crucifixion. Thank you Lord Jesus, for loving us enough to offer your life to save ours. Hallelujah, He is Risen Indeed!

I have been working on my Easter tablescape a little early this year. I love to add a little vintage elegance to every holiday table. I am excited to feature a few of the items I used in my daughters wedding. I hope it is a romantic sweet surprise, with fond memories of their wedding for my daughter and my son-in-law. Without further adieu, here is our home all ready for Spring. Have a Blessed Holy week and may the Lord grant you peace this Easter.

Front porch. Clematis is in full bloom and smells like heaven!
Kombucha tea stand came today from Edith & Evelyn Vintage, love it! Not Easter related I know but I am KT obsessed. I am loving my new continuous brew system. I highly recommend Kombucha Tea for detox and healing.

This months chalk paint redos. They came out lovely!
I may be a wee bit vintage white ironstone obsessed ;)

Pantry shelf is full of some extra nummies for Easter.

Some nummy cookies.

Have to fill my candy dish with Easter candy, of course!
My Easter lamb a top a stool I just refinished.
A redo project/thrift store find from January. It matches my 1920's chairs, (used pale gray paint).

Little Vintage Rabbits atop my vintage washstand.

Vintage glass from my daughters wedding adorn this table.

Vintage silver teapots always add such charm to the table.

Lovely pewter finished candlabra is the centerpiece for my Easter table.

Vintage lovliness!

Purchased the Potterybarn Pasture Bunny Dishes. There are four adorable different bunnies in the set.

Potterybarn Pasture Bunny Dishes. Have an off white crackled patina giving them a vintage feel.

Aren't they sweet?

One day my youngest daughter will have them on her Easter table and remember all the Easter's with us.

Vintage rabbit & glass egg from my darling Mom.

My Grandma's vintage baby chickie & my Mom's rabbit. Her & I are a wee bit rabbit obsessed.

My darling Mom found this sweet little rabbit at a vintage mall she & I went to on her BD.

Peace & Joy from our home to yours this blessed Easter week.
