Pantry Shelf

The time had finally come.....after years of dreaming about it we are in a home that had the perfect spot for my open pantry shelf project. YIPPEE! I have been collecting vintage mason jars for several years now for my daughters' weddings, and for my one day (swoon) open pantry shelves. Well ladies & gentlemen, my "one day" has arrived! It was my 26th wedding anniversary gift from my husband, one of my favorite gifts ever (second only to the fantabulous covered back patio he had built for me last summer)! He surely is a keeper :) A big thank you to our finish carpenter friend Craig for blessing me and building it for me, you are a truly talented craftsman and did a phenomenal job; THANK YOU BUNCHES!

Here she is, in her unpainted glory.
Dental style crown...I now have a whole new appreciation for painters who paint that style molding!
I used Benjamin Moore Regal Eggshell Classic Black. It has primer built in, thank heavens!
I was so excited for the install the next day I was up until 4AM, lol...simple pleasures for a simple girl ;)
And right on time Craig showed up and got to work! My husband was his helper ;)
Added custom labels to my jars. Most are vintage mason jars that I have collected for years.
My gosche bottles house my oils & other liquids.
I finally get to display & use all of my vintage & antique mason jars that I have collected for years!

We are avid organic tea drinkers. I even brew my own Kombucha tea. So it houses A LOT of teas.
Best anniversary gift yet!

Had room on the side for my new Drake Designs Message/Memo Board. Message for the hubbie :)

Grateful to my husband for making this small dream a reality, (also giving up a portion of his mancave for it)...like I said, he's a keeper. Love you honey!

UPDATE! We moved in 2022 and took our beloved open shelf pantry with us to the new Little White House. Here she is all redone for the new place!

I love it all white!
