| My custom made stocking holder |
- Find an old sign at a discount store (I found one at Ross for $5.99)
- Paint whatever color you like and embellish edges with another color of your choice, allow to dry overnight.
- Buy letters from a local craft store & paint. (I used some from another metal hanging sign I took apart & repainted). Allow to dry over night
- Glue on letter with hot glue or gorilla glue. If using Gorilla glue allow to dry over night.
- Select tack hook style of your choice and layout out stockings decide placement/spacing between stockings.
- Use a yard stick to line up and a sharpie to make a dot where to place your hooks.
- Drill small pilot hole so tacks go in easier.
- Dip tack in hot glue or gorilla glue and push in place.
- Allow to dry overnight.
- Hang stocking with ornament hooks I purchased mine from from Hobby Lobby) you can paint them too. I painted mine black, Voila!
