Stocking Holder

My custom made stocking holder

  1. Find an old sign at a discount store (I found one at Ross for $5.99)
  2. Paint whatever color you like and embellish edges with another color of your choice, allow to dry overnight.
  3. Buy letters from a local craft store & paint. (I used some from another metal hanging sign I took apart & repainted). Allow to dry over night
  4. Glue on letter with hot glue or gorilla glue. If using Gorilla glue allow to dry over night.
  5. Select tack hook style of your choice and layout out stockings decide placement/spacing between stockings.
  6. Use a yard stick to line up and a sharpie to make a dot where to place your hooks.
  7. Drill small pilot hole so tacks go in easier.
  8. Dip tack in hot glue or gorilla glue and push in place.
  9. Allow to dry overnight.
  10. Hang stocking with ornament hooks I purchased mine from from Hobby Lobby) you can paint them too. I painted mine black, Voila!
