Smokey Lemon Dill Salmon

Ingredients:
  •  3-4 frozen boneless salmon steaks (wild caught-NOT FARMED)
Costco has wonderful frozen boneless salmon!
Rub
  • 2 TBS dill weed
  • 1 TBS ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
This very simple recipe is smokey, tangy & delishy! 
  Sauce
  • 4 TBS liquid smoke
  • juice from freshly squeezed lemon
Directions:
  • Preheat Oven to 375°F.
  • Remove salmon from the freezer; do not thaw.
  • Tear off a piece of foil to wrap each salmon steak in.
  • Prepare sauce.
  • Prepare Rub.
  • Place each salmon steak on its own piece of foil and raise side (like a bowl so sauce doesn't escape)
  • Pour an equal amount of sauce on each salmon piece.
  • Sprinkle rub on each piece equally.
  • Wrap each piece up completely in foil and bake.
  • Remove from oven and carefully open foil (will be hot and steam will burn you if you are not careful)!
  • Remove salmon to dinner plate and serve with a lemon wedge.
Raise sides of foil like a tent to prevent spillage and add a little sauce.
Wrap completely & Bake


Cook Temp: 375°F
Cook Time:  60 Minutes
Serve With: Lemon wedge, fresh steam veggies of your liking, baby potatoes & fresh bread or rolls.
Notes: Everyone in our family loves this recipe, which is a rarity in a my family of picky eaters!
