- 1/2 cup of butter; softened
- 1-1/4 cups of sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1-1/2 cups of Mashed Bananas (Puree in the blender)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2½ cups of Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp salt
Directions:
- Grease 9X5 glass pan with butter; set aside.
- Beat eggs for 1 minute on 4 speed in your mixer.
- Add to mixing bowl cream together eggs, sugar, & butter.
- Add buttermilk, bananas & vanilla; blend well in mixer.
- In separate bowl combine dry ingredients.
- Add dry to wet ingredients; mix well for approx 4 minutes on speed 4 in your mixing bowl.
- Pour into prepared pan; bake.
- You can add the batter to greased muffins pans if you want muffins. Bake temp is same reduce baking time to 35-45 minutes.

Temp: 350°F
Cook
Time: 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Invert pan on cooling racks.
Cool thoroughly approx. 2 hours before cutting.
Serve
With: Coffee or
tea.
Notes: A family favorite.
